About Dwad Lane

Business first.
Builder by nature.

I've sold the work, run the operation and been responsible for the numbers. That shapes what I recommend, and what I leave alone.

You hire me so you never have to become the tech guy. I already am one, and I like it.

Everybody is built for something. I'm happily built for this.

The origin story

I didn't learn this in a classroom.

I learned it in the rooms that hurt. Swipe the strip.

2005

Partner Relationship Manager

Asian Tigers Philippines, to 2009. Where moving, relocation and storage got into my blood.

2010

Digital marketing, from the ground up

Director of MyOutSourceBuddy, then founded and ran Woosa Media to 2013: web design, SEO, social and lead generation for small and medium businesses. Getting found, then giving people a reason to inquire.

2013

Vice President, global relocation company

Seven years, to 2020. Executive responsibility across operations, sales, finance and HR. Also CEO of Lane Real Estate, 2013 to 2016.

3 yrs

Beside two Six Sigma Black Belts

Mapping how work actually runs and tracing a problem across departments to the real cause. The detective habit stuck.

2020

President of my own storage company

To 2021. My name on it, my numbers, my mess to fix.

2021+

The builder years

I stepped out of the corner office and back into the workshop. Automations, AI assistants, lead systems and a working setup where agents share knowledge with clear access rules. Built, broken and rebuilt on real businesses, so a client never pays for the lesson.

2026

Back inside a moving company, as the AI lead

Asian Tigers Lane Moving & Storage brought me in to find the gaps and fix what pays. Lisa now takes inquiries and books surveys. The accounting, platform and staff foundations are in place. See the work.

Today

Gaps2Gains: putting owners on the GainTrain

Assistants, automations and lead systems that connect inquiries, company knowledge and the people responsible for the next step. Every one has to earn its place.

What I'm built for

I like the part
most owners hate.

The research. The tinkering. The detective work of "why is this leaking."

A ridiculous eye for the small thing other people walk past.

I don't leave a loose thread. I stay until it's solved.

That is the job.I am that person.

How I work

Four rules I don't bend.

Diagnosis before any quote.

A price before a proper look is a guess with your money. That's why everything starts with the GapCheck.

A clear recommendation. Including when to wait.

If an existing tool or a simpler process can do the job, that's the recommendation. Sometimes the best fix is no new software.

If the records don't support it, I'll say so.

No invented numbers. Every change gets a starting point and a check, so we both know whether it paid.

Careful with what goes where.

Your business doesn't get dumped into a random tool to look busy. Access is defined, and people stay in charge.

Bachelor of Business Administration, Bond University, entrepreneurship and innovation. Executive finance, INSEAD. Curious about technology since the late 1990s.
